Plan Niger

Plan has been working in Niger since 1998, helping poor children to access their rights to health, education and protection.

Our programmes benefit at least 19,950 children in 76 communities.

Currently, we are focusing on a programme to help increase children’s reading proficiency.  We are working with local non-governmental organisation VIE to implement the programme in 10 schools in the Tillaberi area and 6 schools in the Dosso area for adolescents who have never attended formal schooling before.
